We are looking for a highly motivated, fast‑paced, independent, quick learner to install hardware on various manufacturing parts. Sheet metal background preferred as well as Haeger Hardware machine experience with set up capabilities is desired. Please apply to become a part of our journey!

• Ability to read blueprints is required
• Knowledge of Haeger Hardware machine is a plus, not required
• Employee shall be supervised until training is complete. On‑the‑job training as needed
• Must be a team player
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Organizational skill
• Have basic math knowledge – adding, subtracting, multiplying.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
• Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun.

Any combination of education, training or experience that provide the required knowledge skills, and abilities is acceptable.

1-2 years in a related role preferred but not required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Other physical requirements include:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40lbs without assistance.
• Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling or bending positions.
• Ability to stand at a workstation for eight hours a day (minus specified breaks.)
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Ability to work in non‑controlled temperature environment up to eight (8) hours per day.
• Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.

Physical presence at the worksite is an essential job function of this role which the AMP team deems critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, employee well‑being and engagement, and enhances the AMP culture.

Compensation:
Based on experience – competitive.
