SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Primary responsibility will be tracking and communicating status on the flow of production parts and raw materials to support established customer commitments (delivery requirements). This position will also be responsible for timely response to internal status inquiries of parts, communicating potential schedule impacts, and escalating issues to the internal Business Manager when parts are not moving through production as expected.

• Constantly track and status parts, within assigned product line, as they move through various departments
• Interact cross-functionally to obtain current status and priority of parts waiting to be processed or moved
• Staging of raw materials to their designated work centers
• Communicate, in a timely manner, any issues which may impact or delay the established schedule
• Participate in production meetings and assist with necessary administrative functions

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred
• Forklift experience needed
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, and adept at using Microsoft Word, Outlook
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system (Vantage highly desired)
