Manufacturing System Technician - First Shift (Collaborative Robots)
Job DescriptionPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR LIVERMORE, CA LOCATION ***
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final system assemblies.
- Work with engineers in set‑up and calibration tasks.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting related to the manufacturing process.
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on‑line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Assist engineers in conducting experiments.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Provide guidance to other non‑exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.
- Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
- Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
- Associate's Degree in a related field OR equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Proficient in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
- Ability to follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
Base Salary Range: $31.85 USD to $43.09 USD
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
