Production Worker
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Overtime: Available as needed and may vary based on production demands.
The Production Worker is responsible for manufacturing bulk products in accordance with established batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role involves material handling, weighing and blending raw materials, operating production equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and working closely with Quality Control to ensure product quality and compliance.
Job Responsibilities- Pick and pull required raw materials for bulk production according to batch requirements.
- Accurately weigh raw materials and verify measurements before production.
- Assemble, operate, and maneuver manufacturing equipment used in bulk production.
- Clean, sanitize, and prepare production equipment before and after use.
- Manufacture products by following Bulk Batch Tickets, SOPs, work instructions, and cGMP requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) personnel throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform production activities such as weighing, heating, blending, emulsifying, transferring, and staging products for storage or packaging.
- Work as part of a team to complete production batches safely, efficiently, and accurately.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production and facility areas.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and material reconciliation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the production department.
- Experience with blending, compounding, mixing, or following production recipes/formulas.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed manufacturing instructions and SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Experience in the personal care, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or related manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and grasp objects.
- Ability to occasionally reach overhead.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
