CNC Machinist
Join a precision machining team producing complex aerospace, defense, and medical components. We're seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment in a clean, modern shop with growth opportunities into programming and leadership.
Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Perform 3- and 4-axis machining (5-axis a plus)
- Read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- CNC setup and operation experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- CAD/CAM experience preferred (Mastercam a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Work on high-precision aerospace, defense, and medical parts
- Clean, well-maintained machine shop

- Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM | Overtime available

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
