Pre-Owned Sales Manager

Our dealership is seeking an experienced, energetic Pre-Owned Sales Manager. We are looking for an individual with proven success, with the ability to deliver superior customer buying experience. Pay Scale: $110,000 to $180,000 annually.

• Ability to effectively manage all areas of the used car department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.
• Experience with internet and retail tools, IE: V-auto, E-car list.
• Make inventory price changes at a minimum of once a week.
• Ensure Pre-Owned inventory is being marketed correctly including good descriptions and photos.
• Organize schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and setting goals.
• Ability to forecast goals and objectives for pre-owned vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Ability to handle and resolve any used car departmental concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that sales representatives understand and follow used car department policies and processes at all times.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates and other management.

Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or managing a Pre Owned Vehicle Department. Experience and knowledge of finance operations, knowledge of bank programs and ability to create excellent lender relationships is a plus for this position.
