About the Role

Supervisor – Vans Retail Store (Part‑time/Internship)

• Lead by example and drive a world‑class customer experience across all store departments.
• Coach, motivate, and develop associates to meet high levels of customer engagement and productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations: organize inventory, process shipments, and ensure timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.

• 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands‑on experience and demonstrated achievements valued.
• Proven ability to drive results through teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Skilled in coaching, motivating, and building high‑performing, diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution‑oriented and flexible in a dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Physical ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight.

Hiring Range: $22.00 – $33.00 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: Eligible for an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential (details provided during interview).
