Position OverviewFloor Supervisor – Full Time, Nottingham, MD dispensary (on‑site). Hours of operation are 9 am–9 pm, 7 days per week. The role requires availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Assist patients with cannabis recommendations through product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
- Work tactically to service patients with care and efficiency while serving as a Leader on Duty (LOD).
- Open the store and prepare staff for the first customers.
- Train new employees on the POS system and e‑commerce platform.
- Assist patients with difficult questions regarding product usage.
- Maintain strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence while working within a diverse team.
- Meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
- At least one (1) year of customer service, retail or related experience preferred.
- Cannabis experience a plus.
- Flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Able to handle cash or card transactions with patients using an electronic processing system.
- Stand constantly.
- Walk frequently.
- Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms.
- Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
