Position Overview

Floor Supervisor – Full Time, Nottingham, MD dispensary (on‑site). Hours of operation are 9 am–9 pm, 7 days per week. The role requires availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and caregivers.
  • Assist patients with cannabis recommendations through product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
  • Work tactically to service patients with care and efficiency while serving as a Leader on Duty (LOD).
  • Open the store and prepare staff for the first customers.
  • Train new employees on the POS system and e‑commerce platform.
  • Assist patients with difficult questions regarding product usage.
  • Maintain strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence while working within a diverse team.
Qualifications
  • Meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
  • At least one (1) year of customer service, retail or related experience preferred.
  • Cannabis experience a plus.
  • Flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time.
  • Able to handle cash or card transactions with patients using an electronic processing system.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand constantly.
  • Walk frequently.
  • Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms.
  • Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
