Position: Sales Consultant (Livermore CA)

Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant, you will sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts. The ideal candidate is motivated, aggressive, and experienced in the construction industry, building trusted relationships and expanding new accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
  • Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads, and manage accounts.
  • Provide product knowledge and recommend materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
  • Understand the market, monitor conditions, product innovations, competitors, prices, and sales.
  • Meet monthly sales targets.
  • Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns.
  • Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
  • Other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
Travel Requirements

Local travel, greater than 50% of time required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. It also requires good hand‑eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience in building products or construction.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
  • This is a safety‑sensitive position.

Compensation Range

$30,000.00 – $ (actual offers depend on location, experience, skills, and market data). Variable compensation may also be offered.
