Reports To: Field Foreman
Shift/Hours: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Pay Range: $24.97- $33.15
Position Overview
The Finish Plumber may drive their personal vehicle or a company vehicle. Their primary responsibility will be to install faucets, water heaters, tubs, under sink drain assemblies, water supply valves and water supply lines for residential and multi-family housing
Technical Responsibilities of the Job
- Water heaters (solder copper supplies, run the vent, run T&P drain, hook up gas line)
- Tankless water heaters (same as water heaters)
- Drop in bath tubs ( install drain, solder, drill fiberglass or tile, mix mortar)
- Faucets (install drains copper or ABS traps, hook up supply lines)
- Toilets (clean surface, install wax ring, assemble toilet base and tank)
- Angle stops and drains ( cut stub outs, tighten stops, glue or solder drain assemblies)
- Lift and carry over 80lbs at a time
- Knowledge of local codes for installation is a plus
- Lean Principles including 5S
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.

Training/Certification
- Prior construction or plumbing experience a plus
- Experience with plumbing Install and troubleshooting
- Knows how to work a snake for Drains, Sewer lines, Lavs etc.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Graduate of Apprenticeship Program is required for Journeyman
Working conditions and management style:
- Subject to adverse weather conditions – extreme heat and cold
- Job sites can be loud, dusty,
- Level of supervision to be expected
- May be working in elevated areas (up to 3 stories)
Performance Standards:
- Percentage of time spent in field, traveling, in meetings, etc. (varies)
- Installers and Tradesman use a Field Skills Matrix to meet job goals and expectations – review with supervisor
- All Villara employees are expected to work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers
- Meeting deadlines as outlined by supervisor (bid times)
- Showing up every day and on-time. Punctual
- Taking appropriate time for rest and meal breaks
- No personal phone calls unless emergency
- Willingness to learn
