Perform direct field labor work under guidance from Team Leaders and Managers. Responsibilities include diagnostics and repair, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and suppression systems, intermediate repair and maintenance, safety and compliance, documentation and reporting, and customer communication and coordination. Involves O&M field labor support when necessary.
Perform service and repairs on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, suppression gas systems, and other related building system products at customer sites. Troubleshoot and install equipment from manufacturers such as Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products. Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.

- Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.
- Perform inspections of suppression gas systems based on contract requirements.
- Inspect customer systems.
- Use smart phone and equipment.
- May include government work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
- PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- FEL-A certification.
- Manufacturer certifications (ANSUL, Kiddie Pyro Chem ).
- RMEI and preferred multi-license.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
$32.60 - $44.81 (Hourly rate to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
