What you will do
Perform direct field labor work under the guidance of Team Leaders and Managers, delivering service projects. Tasks include specialized diagnostics and repair, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and suppression systems, intermediate repair and maintenance, safety and compliance, documentation and reporting, and customer communication and coordination. Additionally, provide O&M field labor support, service and repair portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and suppression gas systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software and system programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activities, and program system products while working with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.
- Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service.
- Perform inspections of suppression gas systems based on contract requirements.
- Utilize smartphones and equipment as needed.
- May include government work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills.
- PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- FEL‑A certification preferred.
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie, Pyro Chem, RMEI) are a plus.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Multi‑license preferred.
Hiring hourly range: $32.60 - $44.81 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities).
