Painting Technician

Job Location: GB GROUP LM - Livermore, CA 94551

Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00 Hourly

To perform painting duties under the direction of the Foreman / Superintendent.

• Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to buildings and woodwork.
• Remove and mix paint solutions.
• Maintain painting surfaces on buildings and woodwork.

• Knowledge of standard painting concepts, practices, materials, and supplies.
• Work with minimal supervision, requiring creativity and judgment.
• Perform tasks related to preparation and finish work.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, reading).
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, roofs, and extension ladders.

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Respond to inquiries from customers, agencies, and the community.
• Present information to top management, public groups, and board members.

• Apply mathematical concepts such as probability, inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.

• Working knowledge of project plans, specifications, construction industry standards, and building codes.
