We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join an established residential and light commercial HVAC team serving the Tri-Valley area.

This is a hands-on service position for someone who is comfortable working independently in the field, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and determining the right repair rather than simply replacing equipment.

• $35.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance and identify developing equipment problems
• Repair existing systems whenever practical and appropriate
• Test electrical components using meters and diagnostic equipment
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and related HVAC/R procedures
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
• Complete system start-ups, testing, and commissioning
• Clearly explain system problems and repair recommendations to customers
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Maintain safe and professional work practices in the field

• 3+ years of HVAC field experience
• Solid HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic abilities
• Residential HVAC experience required; light commercial experience is a plus
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose problems independently
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
• Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Dependable and professional approach to field service
