Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Applications DUTIES
- Analyze users’ needs and design, test, and develop software to meet those needs.
- Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems.
- Design each component of the application or system and plan how the pieces will work together.
- Create models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) to guide programmers in writing the software code.
- Ensure continued normal function of the software through maintenance and testing.
- Document every aspect of the application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software.
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Applications, Engineering, Computer/MIS, or related field, or Bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive related experience.
- Ability to travel temporarily to client sites throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
