Counter Warehouse Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is looking for a full‑time Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate to serve as a key customer touchpoint, ensuring accurate order entry and smooth customer interactions.

The position requires strong multitasking skills, including processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics, and supporting delivery timelines. It is a four‑day workweek (Saturday in Spring and Summer) with an optional five‑day schedule during peak seasons.

• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients through phone, email, and in‑person consultations.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
• Communicate customer needs and special order material requests to management and teammates.
• Perform a mix of sales counter duties and warehouse tasks, including order pulling, picking, staging, replenishment, shipping, receiving, and staging orders for delivery.
• Load company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment while following safe work practices and wearing PPE.
• Lift up to 75 lbs (or 50 lbs as needed) and work in varied conditions, including outdoor and warehouse environments.
• Work overtime as needed during peak seasons.

• Prior experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Basic computer operations and internet navigation skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs (or 50 lbs as required).
• Willingness to work overtime during peak season.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment background and drug test.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping, or receiving environment.

• Hourly base salary: $19.00–$25.00 per hour.
• Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonuses, commissions, a car allowance, or fuel reimbursement (subject to company policy).
