We are seeking a full-time Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Tender links Elstead. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children, designing and leading age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. A significant part of this role is building positive relationships with children and their families while collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional childcare services.
NurseryPractitioner - Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities to foster learning and development.
- Create a clean, safe, and stimulating environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor children's development and communicate their progress with parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a harmonious and supportive workplace.
- Follow all safeguarding and first-aid procedures to ensure child safety.
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities and report any concerns to the nursery manager.
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Previous experience in childcare or working with young children.
A solid understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a nursery setting.
Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
First aid and safeguarding training certification.
