Working Days: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday (rota to be agreed)

Shift Pattern: 4 days per week (set across Mon–Fri)

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days pro rata (holiday year April – March)

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy City law firm site, supporting day-to-day catering operations and helping to deliver a consistently high standard of service. The focus of this role is maintaining tea and coffee points across the building, ensuring they are fully stocked, clean, and well presented throughout the day. You will also support the wider hospitality and café teams during busy periods, so a proactive attitude and strong customer service approach are essential.

• Maintain tea and coffee points to a high standard across the building, ensuring they are clean, tidy and well presented
• Replenish stock throughout the day, including beverages, consumables and essentials
• Monitor and support vending machines (stock levels, cleanliness and presentation)
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond quickly to requests
• Support the hospitality team during peak periods (meeting rooms and service delivery as required)
• Assist the café team when needed to ensure smooth service
• Follow Bennett Hay statutory health, hygiene and safety, and quality standards at all times

• Previous catering or hospitality experience (contract catering experience is beneficial)
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and proactive manner
• High level of spoken English
• Reliable, organised and able to manage time effectively across multiple areas
• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping areas consistently well maintained
• A team player who is happy to support different work streams during busy periods
