Working Hours:
40 hours per week
Working Days:
Monday to Friday (rotating weeks)
This role follows a rotating weekly rota:
- Week A: 4 x 10-hour shifts (Friday is a non-working day)
- Week B: 5 x 8-hour shifts
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days pro rata (holiday year April – March)
About the RoleWe are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join our hospitality team within a prestigious City law firm. You will support the delivery of a high‑end, 5‑star meeting and events service, including beverages, sandwiches, buffets and fine dining. This is a customer‑facing role where attention to detail, professionalism, and a friendly, enthusiastic approach are essential. You will also support occasional evening events when required.
Key Responsibilities- Service meeting rooms to a consistently high standard, including set‑up, service and clear‑down
- Deliver hospitality including beverages, sandwiches, buffets and fine dining service
- Support occasional evening events as required
- Maintain excellent presentation standards in all meeting and hospitality areas
- Engage professionally with customers, ensuring a welcoming and proactive service style
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and service delivery
- Follow Bennett Hay statutory health, hygiene and safety, and quality standards at all times
- Previous hospitality experience (contract catering hospitality experience is beneficial)
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to deliver a premium service
- High level of spoken English
- A friendly, enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a customer‑facing environment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, professional, and able to remain calm in a busy environment
- Overtime paid at time and a half
