Are you an experienced Senior Ecologist looking to join an independent environmental and planning consultancy working across renewable energy, infrastructure and nature-based projects?

The Senior Ecologist role will involve:

Managing medium to large and complex ecological projects
Leading surveys, site visits and ECoW work
Producing high-quality ecological assessments, reports and management plans
Providing specialist ecological advice to clients and stakeholders
Managing subcontractors and quality-checking project deliverables
Line managing and mentoring junior ecologists
Supporting business development, tenders and client relationships

Requirements:

Relevant degree and strong consultancy experience
Associate/Full CIEEM membership or working towards
Strong project management and report-writing skills
Excellent knowledge of UK ecology legislation and guidance
Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
Living in or within a commutable distance of the Liverpool office
