Electrical Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a commercial office fit-out project. This freelance role is suited to someone with strong site supervision experience who can ensure electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for supervising all electrical activities on site, coordinating trades, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, health & safety requirements, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise all electrical trades on site, including electricians and subcontractors

* Read, interpret, and implement drawings, specifications, and design information

* Conduct regular inspections and maintain quality control over all electrical installations

* Work closely with other trade supervisors, the project manager, and the site manager

* Enforce Health & Safety standards, ensuring RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are in place

* Review testing, inspection documentation, and commissioning paperwork

* Monitor work progress, identify delays or risks, and escalate issues as required

* Support snagging, resolve defects, and assist with project handover documentation

* Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports, including timesheets and materials usage

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor

* Proven background supervising electrical works on commercial or industrial projects (office fit-out experience preferred)

* Valid ECS Gold Card

* SSSTS certification

* Full UK Driving Licence
