Mechanical Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced Technician to work at our clients well-established main dealer site, working for a fantastic, prestige brand.

You will undertake all vehicle maintenance, service and repair activities with an emphasis on customer and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.

Carrying out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ and Company servicing guidelines and repair times, you will ensure that work is always to the highest standard as you seek to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction.

You will also be required to liaise with customers to explain the repair work carried out on their vehicle.

Salary – Level 2 (£37,200) Level 3 (£42,000) + Overtime 1.5x

Hours – Mon – Fri with Saturday on a rota basis

SKILLS

You must:

• Be team player & strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, able to take responsibility for the quality and quantity of work.
• Have at least 2 year’s experience after qualifying period, of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar).
• Possess a full UK Driving Licence
• Must have city and guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 Motor Vehicle Engineering
