Experienced Copper Installation Engineers; Nationwide

MJ Quinn is expanding its nationwide engineering resource and is seeking experienced Copper Installation Engineers to support our growing Service Delivery teams across the UK. If you are a skilled engineer with proven experience working on the Openreach copper network

As a Copper Installation Engineer, you will complete installation and provision activities on behalf of our national telecoms contracts. Typical tasks include:

• Overhead and underground copper installation
• Customer‑premises work including internal wiring
• Working on telegraph poles and within street cabinets
• Testing, faulting and commissioning of copper services
• Delivering excellent customer service on every job
• Ensuring safe working practices at all times

This role operates on a sub‑contracting basis not PAYE
, you will be engaged via our agency partners.

Candidates must have:

• Extensive experience on the Openreach network
  —provision, installation and/or repair
• Knowledge of dropwire installation and internal copper work
• Ability to work at height of up to 15m (telegraph poles), climbing multiple times in a working day
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
• A professional, customer‑focused approach
• Strong problem‑solving and technical skills
• A clean Basic DBS check (formally CRB).
• Computer Literacy with the ability to operate a handheld device and outlook
• High motivation with attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone using your own initiative.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
