- Plan and organise your workload effectively, making best use of time, materials, transport and equipment.
- Work within a scheduled appointment system, liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of works.
- Diagnose issues, complete pre‑measuring, and make informed decisions about repair requirements in line with contractual guidelines.
- Supervise and support apprentices or trainees when required.
- Use IT systems to receive instructions, update work orders, order materials and complete documentation accurately.
- Maintain stock and equipment within your company vehicle and ensure all tools and materials are used safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with Schedulers, Planners, CLOs and other teams to ensure work is coordinated and completed effectively.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota when required (additional payment applies).
- Craft City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in your core discipline.
- CSCS card at the appropriate level.
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
- Time‑served apprenticeship with experience in joinery, building maintenance and construction activities.
- Strong customer care skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Experience of multi‑skilled trade activity related to your core discipline.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage a varied workload.
- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different tasks and priorities.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality work, continuous improvement and excellent service.
- Candidates will be invited to attend an interview, which will include a competency‑based discussion exploring relevant experience, technical knowledge and customer‑focused behaviours. Interviews will take place at our Stonebridge Office week commencing 13th July 2026.
