Are you an experienced HGV Trailer Technician seeking a new challenge within a reputable organisation?
Our client is looking to recruit a dedicated HGV Trailer Technician to join their well‑established team in Liverpool.
This role offers a prime opportunity for skilled mechanics to develop their careers in a supportive and professional environment.
If you have a strong background in trailer and heavy vehicle maintenance, this position could an excellent fit for your expertise.
Benefits- Competitive salary of up to £38,000 per annum
- OTE £45,000 – £50,000 with overtime (paid at
1.5x) – 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to purchase 4 additional days – £500 welcome bonus - Private healthcare coverage for self and family

- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on trailers and HGVs
- Work collaboratively within a team committed to safety and high standards
- Ensure all fleet vehicles meet safety and operational regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Keep up‑to‑date with industry regulations and technical procedures
- Proven experience as an HGV Trailer Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical skills with a comprehensive understanding of trailer and heavy vehicle systems
- A proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership over duties
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to safety standards
