We are representing a reputable accident repair centre located in Liverpool, seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their expanding team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a modern, well-equipped environment dedicated to high standards of vehicle repair. The successful MET Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring every vehicle is restored to manufacturer specifications, delivering quality service to customers.

Duties of the MET Technician:
Conducting strip and fit (MET) work as part of vehicle repairs
Removing and refitting trim components, bumpers, headlights, sensors, and other parts
Performing electrical disconnections and reconnections following manufacturer procedures
Working with modern electrical systems, including ADAS technology
Carrying out plastic repairs to vehicle components where required
Following manufacturer repair methods and technical guidelines
Identifying additional damage and reporting findings to relevant team members
Collaborating with Panel and Paint Technicians, and Workshop Controllers
Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to high standards
Performing quality checks prior to vehicle handover
Requirements of the MET Technician:
Proven experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim components
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
Good understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair methods
Experience in plastic repairs is advantageous
Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ, IMI, or ATA preferred
