Domestic Gas Engineer

Wimbledon, London £40,000 £ 45,000 per annum  Bonus Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Permanent | Full Time Your Recruitment Coach is recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a growing, family-run business based in Wimbledon. Operating for over 10 years, our client provides a range of gas, heating, plumbing, electrical and drainage services across Greater London, with the majority of work covering West, South and South East London .

This is a permanent, salaried position offering a company van, fuel card, annual bonus and private healthcare.

The Role As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Boiler servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs. Installing domestic boilers and heating systems. Completing gas safety inspections and certificates. Installing and repairing underfloor heating systems. Installing heating and smart heating controls. Installing and maintaining radiators, motorised valves and associated heating equipment. Diagnosing faults across domestic heating systems. Completing general plumbing maintenance when required. Repairing leaks to toilets, basins, sinks, urinals and associated plumbing.

Attending emergency gas and water leaks. Producing detailed job reports to support quotations and invoicing. Communicating professionally with customers while on site. Identifying additional work where appropriate. Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: A valid Gas Safe registration with the relevant domestic competencies. A Level 2 Plumbing qualification or higher .

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Gas Engineer . Strong experience servicing, repairing and fault finding domestic boilers. Good knowledge of domestic heating systems. Previous plumbing maintenance experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to complete accurate and detailed job reports. A professional and presentable approach when dealing with customers. Flexibility around working hours when required.
