This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Empty Homes Team and provide a high-quality Joinery and associated repair and replacement service throughout Merseyside /Wigan and Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Although we try to base our operatives closest to their home location it may still be required for you to travel to other locations due to business requirements.

Ideally, you will live within or close to your regional area of work and be based within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed.

First and foremost, working as part of the Empty Homes repairs division, you will undertake repairs and maintenance in our empty properties.

You’ll be performing a vital Joinery role inside these properties ensuring that all Joinery works required are completed to the highest standards. You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised competency/qualification within the Joinery field
• Experience of undertaking additional repairs and maintenance outside of a Joinery skill set Experience of working as an Joiner within the housing sector would be of real interest.
• You will have basic health and safety knowledge in a repair’s environment.
• You will have a full UK Driving License (ideally no more than 6 points)

This role also offers genuine progression opportunities, many of our Skilled operatives go on to gain further qualifications or take up team leader, Inspector, supervisory or secondment roles internally when they arise.

In return we offer £36,089.55 plus van and fuel, increasing to £37,460.95 following successful probation for a 40-hour week, and 23 days annual leave (holidays continue to increase with time served) plus 3 discretionary days between Christmas & New Year, plus Bank Holidays, but our…
