WorkAs an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at workChance to become a qualified electrician completing electrical tasks supervised in the water industry. Work to consist of:
- Installation work – Assisting our engineers in installing, testing and commissioning our equipment on client sites.
- Control Panel maintenance – In house training to ensure company assets are maintained to a high standard though our inspection and test program. Which allows us to provide a service to our clients.
- Testing, inspection and fault finding
- Mechanical installation – Assisting mechanical teams assembling pipework on client sites.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

We cover various area across the UK operating out of 5 depots. Gloucester is our head office where we would expect the apprentice to make his own way to work. When working away from the head office, transport will be provided, but apprentice would still need to find there way to the head office as a meeting point. When away from the office the work is predominantly outdoors in all weather conditions, but PPE is provided.

Operating from depots in Gloucester, Port Talbot Bodmin, Winsford and Middlesborough servicing a large, varied client base. We support our customer providing them with a solution to achieve their flow diversion.
We have an excessive stock of pumps ranging from 2.2kW all the way up to 275 kW. These are all controlled by a variety of starter control panels, varying from direct on line to variable speed drive.
