Job Details:- Pay:
Up to £59,800 per annum - Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm - Duration:

As a Senior HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs across a fleet of HGVs, tippers and plant equipment. The role involves diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring fleet vehicles are maintained to a high standard. You will also provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs.
- Practical experience of mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work independently and support junior team members.
- A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and workshop safety procedures.
- The ability to carry out Senior HGV Mechanic responsibilities in a busy fleet maintenance environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
- Previous experience working with tippers or plant equipment.
- Experience in a Senior HGV Mechanic or similar senior workshop position.
