Position: General Manager - The Bridge Inn

Situated on the banks of the Union Canal in Linlithgow, The Bridge Inn is a beautifully restored 17th‑century coaching inn that has become a local favourite and destination venue. The Bridge Inn is known for delicious British‑inspired food, quality drinks and a warm sense of community.

We are looking for a General Manager who can lead this iconic venue into its next chapter, preserving its charm and community spirit while driving commercial success and high standards every day.

THE WORKS

As General Manager of The Bridge Inn, you will take full ownership of venue performance, culture and guest experience in one of West Lothian’s most beloved pubs.

This is a venue with personality, a place for brunches, relaxed lunches, classic Sunday roasts, quality dinners and memorable drinks in the beer garden. You’ll be at the centre of it all, leading confidently, creating a workplace where standards are non‑negotiable, and hospitality feels effortless.

YOU WILL BE

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Leading day‑to‑day operations and delivering service excellence
  • Driving sales growth and maximising profitability
  • Developing, coaching and retaining a high‑performing team
  • Managing P & L performance, wage percentages and stock control
  • Championing compliance, health & safety and brand standards
  • Building a venue culture aligned with Buzzworks values
