Analytical Chemist

Talentmark are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to join a Pharmaceutical Services Company in Central Belt Scotland. This is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours and is site based.

The Role:

You will undertake analysis of pharmaceuticals, raw materials, and intermediates working to cGMP and be responsible for supporting aspects of method development and validation when required.

Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of pharmaceuticals, raw materials, and intermediates to cGMP.
Report all experimental undertakings, results and conclusions where required in standard format in line with SOP’s/standard ways of working.
Troubleshoot analytical problems and ensure equipment is maintained and clean and in good working order.
Provide training to team members when necessary.
Undertake root cause analysis and define CAPA actions when necessary.

Your Background:
Educated to degree level in Chemistry or a related field.
Strong Analytical Chemistry laboratory skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge/experience of chromatography techniques (HPLC/GC), Waters Empower or equivalent CDS experience or compendial testing.

Experience of working to cGMP.
Knowledge of QPulse QMS would be beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail, communication and documentation skills.
