We're looking for committed and skilled individualslike you to join our team and play a vital role in excavating,installing, and maintaining crucial telecoms infrastructure. What will you bedoing? You'll be:
- Laying the groundwork for connectivity: Installing newducts, chambers, and cabinets, along with all the associated equipment.
- Clearing the pathfor progress: Tackling blockagesin the highway and expertly reinstating surfaces to industry standards, capturing all the essentialdetails.
- Operatingheavy-duty heroes: Becoming proficient in using Stihl Saws, Wacker plates, trench compactors,mini diggers, and jackhammers (with the rightcertifications, of course!).
- Preparing forconnection: Installing new drawropes to customer premises, ensuring a smooth installationprocess.
- Keeping it alldocumented: Completing accuratepaperwork for your daily tasks, including job sheets, risk assessments, and plant/van checks.
- Being a safetychampion: Applying your knowledge of risk assessment and hazard identification to maintain a strong focus on health and safety.
- Taking care of yourkit: Being responsible for the company assets and plant assigned to you.
- Representing uswith pride: Treating internal and external customers with respect and providing supportwhenever needed.
- Following therules: Ensuring compliance with all current client processes and procedures.
- Bringing your experience to the table: Utilizing your background in a similar operational or engineering environment within the telecoms industry.
- Communicating likea pro: Interactingeffectively and professionally with both internal and external clients.
What skills and qualifications do you need?
- Avalid UK driving license: You'll be on the move,connecting communities.
- Proven street works skills: You're confident working on the public highway.
- Industry-recognised qualifications to the followingstandards are ESSENTIAL:
o NRSWA - Units1 – 9: Your ticket to working safely on the roads.
o CSCS
:
Yourcommitment to construction safety.
o CPCS (Mini Digger):
Your expertise in operating essential machinery(at least one member of a gang).
