DescriptionThe University of West Alabama College of Business is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member in Finance and Economics (open rank, tenure-track, full-time, 9-month) to teach finance and economics courses.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate finance and economics courses on-campus and online.
- Fulfill other duties expected of a faculty member, such as student advising, committee assignments, appropriate public and professional service, research, professional development, and college recruitment and retention activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson and/or Dean.
- A PhD or DBA in Finance and/or Economics from an accredited institution. Consideration will be given to ABD candidates.
- A minimum of 18 hours of graduate course work in Finance and Economics.
- Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
- Successful college teaching experience.
- Experience and willingness to teach both on-campus and online courses.
