- Teaching Freshman Composition and Sophomore and Upper-Level Literature courses.
- Serve on departmental, college, and University committees.
- Fulfill other responsibilities, such as advising and mentoring students, conducting scholarly research, aiding in student retention, and participating in University and community service.

Qualifications- PhD in English with a focus on American Literature from an accredited institution.
- Strong commitment to teaching, student success, and evidence of teaching excellence in undergraduate-level courses in literature and composition.
- Ability to work successfully with diverse populations in the regional university setting.
- Demonstrated potential in research and publication.
- Ability to teach courses in other subfields of literature and composition, such as technical writing, methods of teaching secondary education, etc.
- Experience in teaching online courses.
