DescriptionThe Department of English and History at the University of West Alabama invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions to teach composition and American Literature courses.
- Teach graduate courses in Literature or composition.
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with program outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with students and program faculty. Student emails should be responded to within 24 hours.
Required:
- Earned Master's degree from an accredited University, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching in online and/or blended learning environments.
- Commitment to academic excellence, professional integrity, and student success.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle).
