Must be registered with the Merced County Office of Education Credentialing Department and be active on the County-Wide sub list to be considered. If you're not currently on the County-Wide Sub list, please contact Tina Schultz, Credentials Analyst, MCOE to get more information.

To substitute for Livingston Union School District, all of the following must be completed:

Complete application

Clearance through Merced County Office of Education (MCOE)

Possess a valid 30 day-Substitute Permit or Valid Teaching Credential

Copy of Mandated Reporter Training Certification dated after 7/1 of the current school year.

Copy of Sexual Harassment training that is SB1343 compliant.

Certificate Copy (Completed Sexual Harassment Training)

Certification (Completed Mandated Reporter Training)

Credential Copy (30 Day Sub Permit)

ONLY COMPLETE APPLICATIONS INCLUDING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WILL BE CALLED BACK AND PROCESSED. Candidate pool is reviewed every two weeks. Processing time may vary. Upon hire, selected candidates will need to provide proof of the following:

Fingerprint Clearance
TB Clearance
