RN Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Livingston, Montana

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exceptional opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Department expertise, including pediatric care, to support a busy 9-bed trauma level IV ED on a 13-week contract assignment. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced, adaptable environment with immediate needs for coverage.

• 36 hours per week
• 3x12 hour night shifts (variable shifts)
• Variable days, including weekends and potential holidays

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an ED RN, including recent pediatric emergency exposure
• Completion of at least two prior travel assignments
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (if not current, willingness to obtain must be indicated)
• Strong ability to quickly integrate into new environments and deliver expert care across diverse shifts

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care for both adult and pediatric patients in a 9-bed ED
• Manage trauma and acute cases as part of a trauma level IV team
• Coordinate closely with interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to rapidly changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
• Evaluate and monitor patient condition, execute physician orders, administer medications, and provide comprehensive patient/family education
