Key Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU setting
Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
Administer medications and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Communicate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare staff
Document patient assessments, care provided, and progress accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Experience in PACU or post-operative nursing care
Experience working with pediatric patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

PALS certification
Prior experience in a pediatric PACU or surgical setting
Familiarity with pre-operative assessment and patient preparation workflows
