Account Clerk, Accounts Payable

The Township of Livingston seeks an experienced senior accounts payable professional to join the Finance Department.

• Process Positive Pay files and review checks that are “rejected” by the bank.
• Review for accuracy and process Utility Bills.
• Perform general ledger and budget-related accounting tasks as needed.
• Knowledge of Edmunds financial accounting software; knowledge of Edmunds, ACH and banking experience is a plus.

  Experience:
  
  Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from High School with additional college courses in business accounting. Associates degree in business accounting or related field with 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Strong financial and computer skills and knowledge of Edmunds financial accounting software.

• Full-time position, 35 hours/week
• Salary: commensurate with experience within the range of $55,000-$65,000 annually
