Tax and Audit Associate

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services
• Gain experience with procedures, work papers, and systems
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget
• Identify issues and communicate progress
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training
• Complete research and special projects as needed
• Communicate regularly with clients and CLA family members

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to client sites

Demonstrates expertise in preparing tax returns and providing assurance services while effectively managing client engagements and communicating progress. Possesses a strong foundation in accounting principles and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
