North Star Title is a growing title insurance agency built on accuracy, service, teamwork, and doing things the right way. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented person to join our Livingston office as a Title Operations Associate.
This is an entry-level role and no prior title insurance experience is required. We will train the right person from the ground up.

a specialized industry where accuracy matters and strong performers can grow. You will work closely with experienced title professionals and learn how real estate transactions move from closing through recording, post-closing, escrow follow-up, and final policy delivery.
Why This Role MattersIn title insurance, the details matter. Every document, recording, follow-up item, and policy has to be handled carefully so our clients, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers are protected and well-served.
As a Title Operations Associate, you will help keep files moving, make sure important details do not fall through the cracks, and support the team in delivering the high level of service North Star is known for.
What You'll DoYou will support several key areas of our operations, including:
Post-Closing & Recording Support- Review and submit closing documents for recording
- Scan, organize, and update returned documents and packages in our system
- Help mail out title policies and original documents
- Assist with tracking post-closing items through completion
- Order final water readings with local authorities
- Request and track HOA status letters, dues, and transfer fees
- Follow up on missing notes, documents, date changes, and file updates
- Review closed files for completeness and accuracy
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Assist with filing, organizing, mail, packages, and courier deliveries
- Help maintain office systems and support the team with day-to-day needs
You do not need title insurance experience. The right attitude and work habits matter most.

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Experience in title insurance, real estate, office administration, or customer service is helpful but not required. A title producer license and/or notary commission is a plus.
This role is designed for someone who wants to learn the title insurance business from the ground up. As you gain experience, there may be opportunities to grow into additional responsibilities in post-closing, recording, settlement support, policy production, client service, or other areas of title operations.

This is an office-based role in our Livingston, NJ location, with some initial training in our East Brunswick office.
