The Role:
Work orders rely on being planned successfully and this is your opportunity to be there at the beginning, to map out what needs to be achieved.
You’ll communicate with various colleagues and customers, to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly defined.
These requirements will then need to be translated into accurate and concise work instructions for our operational teams.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…- Planning reinstatement works, scheduling and updating programmes through Depotnet and daily trackers
- Supporting direct labour with day-to-day queries and resolving site-related matters
- Allocating and overseeing subcontractor workloads
- Responding to enquiries from clients, customers and local authorities
- Liaising with operational planners and customer teams regarding upcoming and ongoing works
- Raising and coordinating material orders
- Organising plant requests to support site activities
- Logging and submitting monthly coring programme information
- Processing weekly payroll for direct labour teams
You have experience working in a fast-moving operational environment where you are required to assess situations, prioritise effectively and make sound decisions. You will be highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis. You will enjoy building working relationships and ensuring everyone has the information they need to perform their roles effectively.
Knowledge of the local area is important, enabling you to plan works efficiently and respond confidently to enquiries.
