Position SummaryThe Associate Director of Admission Operations is a senior member of the Office of Admission, responsible for managing the systems, processes, and programs that support the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students. This role combines strategic support with strong operational leadership, ensuring the Admission Office runs efficiently while delivering a high‑touch experience for prospective students and families.
A collaborative and detail-oriented systems thinker, the Associate Director oversees day‑to‑day admission operations and partners closely with colleagues across the school to support recruitment and enrollment priorities. This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Management and Institutional Strategy.

Responsibilities- Manage the day‑to‑day operations and processes related to the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students
- Establish and maintain the Admission calendar, including key dates, deadlines, recruitment initiatives, and yield programming
- Coordinate timelines, workflows, and internal processes to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the admission cycle
- Plan and manage Admission events and visit programming, including on‑campus and virtual offerings
- Oversee visitor experiences to ensure a welcoming, organized, and engaging process for prospective students and families
- Supervise the Admission Associate - Visitation Coordinator and Arts Liaison providing guidance and oversight for scheduling and execution
- Assess the effectiveness of events and visitor programming and recommend improvements
- Serve as a liaison between the Admission Office and other departments to support coordinated recruitment and enrollment efforts
- Coordinate the Parent Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training, and ongoing engagement
- Support the development and implementation of admission programs aligned with institutional priorities
- Chair weekly Admission team meetings to support communication, coordination, and accountability
- Prepare and share weekly reports
- Co‑chair the Admission Committee and serve as an active member, including reading candidate files and participating in candidate and parent conversations
- Support management of the Office of Admission budget, including tracking expenses and monitoring expenditures
- Maintain a prospective student and family portfolio
- 3+ years of experience in an Admissions office at an independent school
- Strong organizational skills and comfort in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to forge relationships with a broad range of constituents

- Working knowledge of tools and technology including Google Suite
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
Salary range $70,000 - $90,000. Salary is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to education and experience.
