Stadium Experience Essential

What you’ll be doing ...

As a member of the Stadium Wi-Fi practice, you will act as the Design Authority, spearheading our most complex, high‑density (HD) Wi‑Fi deployments for high‑profile clients in stadium and arena environments. Your role extends beyond standard network implementation to encompass the entire project lifecycle, from initial pre‑sales engagement and solution design to implementation governance and post‑deployment optimization. A core responsibility is to own the design and guarantee its flawless execution.

This senior‑level position requires exceptional technical capabilities and communication skills, including presenting to stakeholders and developing comprehensive documentation for solutions, designs, configurations, and test procedures.

What we’re looking for...
  • Credibility & Consulting: Building credibility and effectively consulting customers during sales calls, relying on in‑depth industry knowledge to clearly convey intricate technical solutions.
  • Pre‑sales & Design: Supporting pre‑sales and design by defining requirements, estimating level of effort (LOE), and applying a deep understanding of Wi‑Fi technologies.
  • Discovery & Assessment: Performing advanced site surveys with tools like drones and 360 cameras to capture detailed data for accurate design and planning.
  • Predictive Modelling: Utilizing modelling tools for complex designs and RFP responses to anticipate challenges, optimize performance, and mitigate risks.
  • High‑Level Design: Creating initial high‑level designs (HLDs) and attending kick‑off meetings to shape the overall project direction.
  • Solutions Architect Support: Collaborating on CPE builds, BOM validation, and design reviews, demonstrating a deep understanding of hardware and interoperability.
  • Low‑Level Design & Delivery: Creating low‑level designs (LLDs) and delivery runbooks.
  • Link Between Stakeholders: Acting as the central technical liaison between the customer, delivery partners (TPVs), and construction teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Design Validation & Audits: Performing RF design reviews and regular technical audits throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Evaluating Conformance with Design: Evaluating the completed work to determine its conformance with the design and reviewing partner work to ensure it strictly follows specifications.
  • Advisory & Escalation: Serving as the technical escalation point for resolving complex issues and providing expert advice on intricate low‑level designs (LLDs).
  • WLAN Implementation Support: Providing guidance on configurations, leading advanced troubleshooting, and delivering training to delivery partners.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Applying deep technical expertise to analyze RF network data and develop optimization strategies for performance tuning.
  • Event Support: Supporting critical events by monitoring Wi‑Fi network health, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting optimizations to maintain seamless connectivity.
You’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Extensive, hands‑on experience with one or more leading Wi‑Fi and network vendors (e.g., Extreme Networks, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
  • Significant experience within Wi‑Fi network engineering, specifically with Wi‑Fi/Mobility networks and networking devices, protocols, and operating systems.
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing and deploying complex, high‑density Wi‑Fi solutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 %.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Direct experience developing Stadium RF designs, including RF propagation modelling and site surveys at stadium locations with tools such as Ekahau or Hamina.
  • Proven skills in data collection, troubleshooting,…
