We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing CPA firm in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. ResponsibilitiesThe Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance functions for our clients. This role involves developing and implementing tax strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and working closely with clients to optimize their tax positions. The Tax Manager will also provide leadership and guidance to a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within a medium-sized accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
