The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

As an integral member of our inpatient team, you will share in providing a healing environment for pediatric patients and families on pediatrics, pediatric ICU, burn ICU, and burn step down unit by providing developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions. You’ll comply with hospital policies and procedures. You will also participate in discharge planning, patient documentation and psychosocial assessment as well as Quality Improvement and Patient Satisfaction activities.

Required:

• Bachelors level degree in any of the following or related fields:
  Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Adolescent and Family Counseling, Special Education.
• Child Life Internship required

• Child Life Certification required within 1 year of hiring
