We are seeking a Temp-to-Perm Legal Assistant to support a busy legal team, including two partners and two paralegals, within a fast-paced law firm environment. This role requires prior experience working in litigation and bankruptcy matters, with a strong understanding of Chapter 11 and debtor/creditor cases. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines in a high-volume setting.

Function
  • Provide administrative and legal support to two partners and two paralegals.
  • Assist with litigation and bankruptcy case management.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Support Chapter 11 and debtor/creditor case workflows.
  • Perform federal electronic court filings (e‑filing) in compliance with court requirements.
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadline tracking.
  • Coordinate with courts, clients, and internal legal staff as needed.
  • Assist with document management and case‑related administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
  • Must be able to draft letters and documents for bankruptcy matters and all litigation matters.
  • 3+ years of law firm experience specifically with bankruptcy.
