Press Brake Setter/Operator (AM-PERM) Livingston, Scotland
Salary: GBP
14 - GBP
16 per hour
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join an established sheet metal fabrication business based in Livingston.
Our client is a family-run precision sheet metal fabrication business, working across a broad range of materials and sectors - offering a varied, skilled role with modern equipment including AMADA press brakes.
What's on offer?
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm
- £14.00 to £16.00 per - hour dependent on experience
As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, your duties will include:
- Setting and operating press brake machinery to produce precision sheet metal components
- Working across a range of materials including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately to produce components to specification
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production to maintain a high standard finish
- Operating a wide range of workshop machinery as required
To be considered as a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you will need:
- Proven experience setting and operating press brake machinery - AMADA experience is advantageous
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium to a high standard finish
- A strong commitment to quality and health and safety standards
