Pay Range: $65.49 - $74.90 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
• Must float into Labor & Delivery, FCC/Nursery, and Antepartum
• At least 1yearexperience in L&D
• At least 1yearexperience in Postpartum/Nursery

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP Certification from the American Heart Association
• IV Certificate and pass test upon hire

• On Call
• Night shift
• 2 – 12.5 hour shifts per month, both shifts on weekend
• 1 – 12.5 hour Summer Holiday (Easter, July 4th, Labor Day)
• 1 – 12.5 hour Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)

Organize and administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, JCAHO requirements and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
